Are mediums legitimate? (This may change your mind)

Q: Are all media real? Is it possible for a psychic or medium to only appear to be accurate, when he is actually making it up? What about mediums who are “in” SOME of the time, for some of the people…but for others, they’re guessing, reaching, or just cold reading all the time?

A: The truth is that we get a lot of questions about fake, fraudulent, impostor or just plain BAD psychics or mediums. Interestingly enough, many times someone thinks that they have been scammed or taken advantage of by a psychic or spiritual coach that another person thinks has hit the nail on the head or offered them a fantastically valuable experience.

Can those 2 things be reconciled? Can a medium be surprisingly ON one day…and off and off the next?

The answer is YES, and in our experience, psychic or spiritual “abilities” also manifest in the real world.

Here’s a quick example:

I like a really good medium for a really talented artist or athlete, who has a special ability or an unusual ability that often requires the right circumstances to thrive.

I’ve seen amazing artists create a masterpiece on a Monday…and then for some reason create a clunker or something that lacks artistic value the next day.

We’ve all seen athletes put on incredible record-setting performances one day, literally looking like world champions who can’t be stopped. A few days or a week later (depending on the sport) they may not be able to do ANYTHING right, and you almost forget how much they shined in their previous performance.

This is really how many psychics operate in my experience, and another reason why so many really gifted intuitives don’t do very well under “laboratory” conditions either. If you were to take a world class artist or musician and put them in a lab where other people were going to rate and review every inspired brush stroke or musical note, most would NOT do as well as they do in their “natural” environment, they are more comfortable, too.

One of my favorite spiritual teachers and a gifted medium once told me that for a reading to be REALLY good, it needed 3 parts to do its part.

He needed to be at the top of his game.

Your customer or caller needed to be open, engaged and present.

And the loved one in “spirit” needed to show up too, and do his part, and play his part as well.

When those 3 factors came together…

The experiences were invariably life changing for the client, and also for her as a reader. (and probably very rewarding for those in spirit… who were able to convey a message of hope, health and healing to their loved ones on THIS side as well!)
