The goal for most girls (and some guys) is healthy, shiny, bouncy hair. It is often difficult to achieve when you blow-dry every day, lighten dark hair, lighten, perm, relax, curl, and the list goes on and on! All these things we do in the name of beauty and style can actually make your hair dull, limp, frizzy, or all of the above.
So what’s a beauty girl to do when she doesn’t want to spend $100.00 on top of getting deep treatments at the salon every other week? Go to the Loreal Hair Care Professional product line and choose Absolut Repair (the yellow packaging). This mask on more than one occasion has changed my hair from drab to fab! I have tried many other products, even the celebrity endorsed Kerastase products $$$, and nothing has improved my hair like Loreal Professional Absolute Repair. You should use the mask once or twice a week on a regular basis. I’m bad at it, I usually forget about it and start when I see my locks go dull. But a good habit that you can acquire is to do it on your leisure day, like a Sunday. You can follow the instructions on the bottle and apply to clean, damp hair for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. You can also get a deeper treatment by applying it to washed hair, then put on a shower cap and let it heat up for an hour or so. It really depends on how much time you have, to be honest I don’t really see a huge difference either way. After styling rinse as usual. You will see an immediate difference in your hair, it will be smoother and shinier, at least that’s what I found. It will also smell amazing and the fragrance will stay on your hair for about two days. Obviously, the longer you keep treating your hair, the better it will get. When I’m not forgetful and treat my hair every Sunday for a while, I even notice less breakage and brush falls.
I have seen this product in Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) so it might as well be in larger US pharmacies. If not try calling Salons to see who has it as it is a professional Salon product.
