The NBA playoffs get better every year

Let’s recap; there have been 12 series so far, just Dallas vs. Memphis and Detroit vs. Milwakee has not extended a show on stage. In my opinion, these are simply one of the most enjoyable playoffs in NBA history.

The Spurs got everything they wanted in the first round from Sacramento. It looked like the Heat were peeling off after the Bulls punched them in the mouth in the first round. But Miami survived and has thrived ever since.

I think Phoenix vs. The Lakers’ first round with Kobe Bryant making those wonderful shots in Game 4 gave the Lakers a three-game lead followed by Raja Bell’s suspension for meeting Bryant and Barboza’s excellent performance to replace Bell in the game. Game 6, paving the way for Game 7.

Miami beat New Jersey in five games, the last three of which were undecided with two minutes left in each game. And then there are the Clippers, who are amazing. Watching the Clippers take control of the city of Los Angeles is simply satisfying. They have been the worst team in the NBA for the last 25 years and yet there they are.

All of this makes this season attractive to most family members and makes the NBA playoffs create the stars that make people watch for years to come.
