I am amazed at the number of people who take the slow road to earning income online. Well, maybe I’m not surprised given all the misinformation out there these days. People fail online due to implementing the wrong strategies and taking the snail approach to affiliate marketing. It shouldn’t take years to earn a full time income online, in fact it shouldn’t take more than 6 months with the right approach. This is the approach I recommend every person new to internet marketing take. Of course, there is still work to be done, but not as much as the other recommendations on many sites around the web.
–Search in creating a landing page
–Driving traffic to that page through forum posts, social media, classified ads, solo paid ads, banner ads, article marketing, etc.
–Have a quality free offer to give to people who sign up to your list
–Continue to build trust with your list by providing them with good information on a regular basis
–Find a quality product to sell to those people, but only offer it after providing value
The above strategy is how all the greats make money online and anyone who tells you otherwise is either a liar, or has no idea what they’re talking about.
This is the strategy you should be learning. You can learn this for free on the web. It will take time to master, but if you take action and consistently move forward with this approach, you will be way ahead of the 99% of people out there today.
Creating blogs and promoting products on that website is ridiculously slow and is the reason so many people fail online. To earn enough income to feel comfortable with AdSense, you’ll have to do a ridiculous amount of work that can take years to accomplish.
Some will tell you that “yes” takes time, but in the end you will get to where you want to be. I mean, that’s the wrong way to approach getting money. What about the years of steady work you put in? If I had a full-time job, I could have saved a couple thousand and put that into paid advertising within that time. You would then see instant results by sending that traffic to a signup page where you would start building your “ACTIVE” online… your LIST.
I know a lot of people on this forum love AdSense, but there’s no way that compares to building a list from scratch. What the real high earners won’t tell you is that they get 90% of their income from their list… period. There may be some exceptions, but believe me, your list will be your most important asset and it is currently the ONLY one button money making system out there on the internet.
I make a decent living building websites because I’ve been at this for years, but I made more money in my first 6 months building a list than I did in many years following the beaten path that so many (too) people are told to.
Making money online is 100% about strategy. If you have the right strategy then you will NOT spend years spinning your wheels.
Earning money is not that difficult. If I had to start over tomorrow, this is what I would do…
1) Buy a quality PLR product for around $100-$200 that I know my target audience will absolutely LOVE. It is a one time payment but ESSENTIAL to my future success with the list I will build.
2) Create a capture page and set up a subscription form.
2b) Build a personal branding authority website and fill it with 5 quality articles related to my niche. Also have an “about me” page where I would tell my subscribers all about me (obviously) to help them connect with a REAL person. (Put a subscription form on that website too.)
3) Drive traffic to the squeeze page via the FREE and PAID methods I mentioned earlier in this post.
4) Give them that quality product for FREE when they sign up so you can build a great relationship with them from the start.
5) Continue to provide valuable information to that list and always have a link back to my authority’s website so they can get to know me on a personal level.
6) Go out and find quality affiliate products that I know can help you. These products need to be of very high quality, so you should only market products that you know are good. Write a review about that product on your authority site to redirect them if they are not sure whether to buy it or not. I would write a review on each product that I promote in my list. This will give them more reasons to buy from me, as they will know that I am not just promoting crap and that I have thoroughly examined it before promoting it.
Now the quality product I gave them for FREE should be enough to convince them that I’m not just another salesperson trying to sell them. They will realize that I am a person who adds value above all else. They will also get an idea of this because I have a personal website where they can read all about me and see that I am a real person. I will have photos of myself on that website and make sure my marketing life is as transparent as possible.
As I begin to build this relationship with my list, I will ALWAYS let them know that they can contact me at any time and that I am there to help them on their journey. They will read about my trip on my “about me” page and I will do my best to make a personal connection with them.
I will NEVER sell my list by force… EVER. I will only recommend products that I can be sure are of quality and as I mentioned earlier I will have a product review on my personal website if you are looking for more details.

If I didn’t have start-up money to pay for some of my traffic, I’d get a part-time job to fund it. I’d clean bloody toilets if I had to…after all, this is a REAL business I’m running.
That’s what I’d do, and I’m sure after 6 months of hard word work, I’d have a list so responsive I’d make 10x what I would if I took any other approach.
